Successful completion of first SAP training workshop for the IBA faculty






The first SAP training workshop, "Introduction to ERP using SAP version ECC6" was successfully completed at IBA.




"This course was an introductory level course and the next two courses in this series are for the domain specialist: Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting. We have chosen these courses as pilot courses to be taught to students in Spring 2010", reported Imran Khan, the project manager for the IBA EAAP (ERP Academic Alliance Program). The Financial Accounting course for faculty members will be starting from 5th of September.

ICICT2009 Conference successfully held

The ICICT 2009 Conference was successfully held on August 15-16. The conference continues to keep up the tradition of being held once every two years and to attract high quality publications from all over the world. This year we attracted 122 papers from 18 countries (England, Germany, Australia, Scotland, France, Austria, Netherlands, Ireland, Canada, Spain, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Malaysia, UAE, India, Bangladesh and Syria) besides Pakistan, out of which 64 papers were accepted for publication.

Dr. Shakeel Khoja joins the FCS


Dr. Shakeel Khoja became part of the growing Faculty of Computer Science on August 1st. His Research Interests are: Learning Technologies, Usage of Web Technologies into learning, Multimedia Systems, Digital Video/Image Processing and Storage, Internet programming.
